Create a fifteen-second candid birthday diary filmed as if by a friend using a small camcorder. Start with an adult checking their hair in a hallway mirror, then turn toward a quiet knock at the door. Cut to two friends arriving with a small cake box and laughing as they try to hide it. For the final six seconds, gather the same people around a kitchen table, open the box, and let the birthday guest react with an unposed smile. Use soft window light, slight handheld reframing, and gentle digital grain. Keep outfits, cake decoration, and room layout consistent. Include door sounds, overlapping laughter, and the box opening, without an artificial music swell.

Make it your own

  • Limit the group to three people and use a shared reference to preserve faces and clothing.
  • A closed cake box is easier to carry consistently than an exposed cake with moving candles.
