Small boat naive illustration

Paint a small ferry crossing a still mountain lake as a naive editorial illustration. Place the boat just below the center, with two seated passengers rendered as simple dark shapes and a yellow canopy that becomes the focal point. Use a broad blue lake, a narrow band of dark fir trees, and pale broken mountain forms above it. Build the image from dry pastel marks and uneven opaque gouache on toothy cream paper. Keep reflections as a few horizontal strokes rather than a mirror image. Do not add typography, a photographic comparison panel, or intricate facial detail. Preserve a quiet sense of distance and scale.
